The brief was to think of scenarios and then illustrate the following skills for life and character development—respect, gratitude, honesty, creativity, courage, responsibility, empathy, perseverance, cooperation and kindness—in a simple and compelling way for preschoolers to understand. Each character trait had a colour that was meant to be largely incorporated into the illustration. I also illustrated line art versions of the images for the children to colour in. I loved doing this thoughtful project!
