I was asked to create a lively capture of a pet bird to be part of a series of events within a theme called The Bird-House. 

The illustration came first with bold colouring and sweeping shapes to indicate movement. The typesetting and display design was intentionally set to muted tones and rigid formatting to offset the illustration.
