Esta proposta de Identidade Visual para a Candidatura “Coimbra 2027 - Correntes de Mudança” a Capital Europeia da Cultura é inspirada no património da cidade. A classificação da Universidade de Coimbra - Alta e Sofia como Património Mundial da UNESCO atribui à cidade de Coimbra o reconhecimento da sua importância histórica e cultural.
A proposta representa o conceito Correntes de Mudança, percorrendo a linha temporal - Passado, Presente e Futuro. Estes três pilares da Identidade Visual fundamentam a ideia de movimento e mudança através dos tempos.
A Marca desenvolvida tem como objetivo representar a importante história da cidade mas também descontruí-la e dar-lhe uma nova vida. O Património histórico e cultural de Coimbra é o ponto de partida do percurso em direcção ao Futuro.

This Visual Identity proposal for the “Coimbra 2027 - Streams of Change” application to European Capital of Culture is inspired by the city's heritage. The classification of the University of Coimbra - Alta and Sofia as a UNESCO World Heritage Site gives the city of Coimbra the recognition of its historical and cultural importance.
The proposal represents the Streams of Change concept, covering the timeline - Past, Present and Future. These three pillars of Visual Identity underpin the idea of movement and change through the ages.

The developed Brand aims to represent the important history of the city but also to relax it and give it a new life. Coimbra's historical and cultural heritage is the starting point of the route towards the future.
