"The creation of this splotchbook is based on apophenia, too. Apophenia is a term used by psychologists. It describes the phenomenon of the human mind to find figures and forms even in chaotic and meaningless patterns and structures. The creatures that way seem to free themselves from the splotch and the canvas, they kind of come alive. They grow out of their texture.
Nevertheless every creature seems to play a part in a narrative structure, could be a character in a story."
