Escape Gahosenfar Labs! To entertain our family during COVID-19 quarantine, we created a challenging escape room. Spy agents from the CDC, plague doctors, viral contagions, illegal animal testing, and biochemical global warfare were themes that drove the story of our immersive experience. After two months of planning, a couple covid outbreak close-calls, and a measly budget from our own pockets, we pieced together this escape room in a two-car garage located in Lakewood Country Club.
Puzzles were created by our brilliant puzzle master AJ. Participants were tasked with discovering vials of vaccine/virus, hacking computers, and deciphering clues from the periodic table. Solving puzzles unlocked mysterious chests that contained spy gadgets, puzzle ciphers, and safe keys. With a one-hour time limit, 3/10 teams were able to escape our brain-busting escape scenario. Congratulations to Andrew and team Mystericios who solved the most puzzles in the fastest time.
