French forge is my first attempt in making fonts. It was kind of experiment to see if i can do something from scratch - from pencil sketch to learning a program and distributor submitting process. And as it's my first attempt, and i'm, definitely, not a type designer at all :) - you can download it completely free of charge on myfonts. See the link below.
Inspiration for this font came from the french forged balcony decorations. I decided to add some variable to see if this could work. So it has 2 dimensions in it (thin letters like a, o, e and ‘wide’ m, b etc.), to make it more vibrant and add volume.
Initially, this is a decorative typeface for large scale designs (like headers or so).
French forge type consists of 328 glyphs, so it have numerals, cyrillics and many more.
If you like this font, feel free to download it on myfonts here: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/anton-shlyonkin/french-forge/
And dont forget to appriciate if you like this font :) Thanks!
