Asiatic Lions
There are only around 600 Asiatic lions left in the wild, living in the Indian state of Gujarat, Western India. The population largely live in the protected park area of the Gir Forest National Park and Sanctuary. The male Asiatic lion has a relatively short, sparse and darker mane compared to the fuller mane of the African lion and are a smaller subspecies of lion compared to the African lion.

Capturing these animals in their habitat shows how they blend in and use their fur to camouflage in with the foliage around them, you also get to see their personalities in the images which helps understand their Behaviour/characteristics more.
