In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the biggest marathons in South Africa went virtual with a GPS-based app.
Runners could run anywhere in the world, but through immersive audio experiences, they could experience the sights, sounds and stories of the original marathon route.
Working as a part of the Moonsport Productions team, I collaborated with them in writing, directing, and producing 52 pieces of audio content for the race, setting a new standard for virtual sports entertainment.
