INSPIRATION & PHOTOGRAPHERS

"Redefining it with you all along" POSTER SLOGAN (possible)

CINEMAGRAPH
FIRST IDEA
Converse is also always been a skateboarding brand, so I thought about a cinematograph poster where I possibly pose with a skateboard.
Loop movements: wind in the hair, wheels.

Equipment and prop used:                                                     Lighting:
Tripod, Sony a7ii, skateboard                                                    ambient light (leds)

What worked:                                                               What didn't work:
Loop it came out good after lot of trials                         background is too empty, next
Camera angle                                                                time I'll try to do it by the window
                                                                                      adding also props and plants

"ART is you" POSTER SLOGAN (possible)

SECOND IDEA
Reading and researching the book of John Berger I found out that  always attracts the audience. I researched some famous paintings of goddesses where I could probably put the converse on as "ART IS YOU":

I Thought to use The Birth of Venus, Painting by Sandro Botticelli, projected in the background of my self portrait cinematograph. As you can see in the picture the angels represents the seasons, blowing the Spring, represented by the goddess on the right.
I will try to reproduce the wind as loop for my cinematograph.

Equipment and prop:                                                Lighting:
Tripod, Sony a7ii, white sheet,                                    projector, night lamp (form Ikea)
hairdryer for the wind.

What worked:                                                               What didn't work:
Loop                                                                              Camera angle, next time needs to
Editing of the image                                                       be more central and close to
projected in the background                                          enhance the shoes.
The light lamp it looks terrible so I'll    .                                                                                     try to shoot again during the day.

Previsualisation:

Set:

Equipment and prop:                                                Lighting:
Tripod, Sony a7ii, white sheet,                                    projector, ambient light (window)
hairdryer for the wind.

What worked:                                                               What didn't work:
Loop                                                                              Of course the lighting, we don't
Editing of the image                                                       have access to the kit store yet so
projected in the background                                          I couldn't use the correct lights.
Next time I'll try to wait for more
                                                                                      natural light, but unfortunately
                                                                                      English weather doesn't help.

THIRD IDEA
After the feedback I received from my lecture I realised I want more going on in the background, so I decided to shoot in a skatepark re-making my first idea.
Here's the pre-visualisation:
As you can see here in the photos I just used a tripod and my camera as equipment. I wanted my cinemagraph to look as natural as possible, using natural light.

                                                  FINAL CINEMAGRAPH
What worked:                                                               What didn't work:
Loop                                                                              You can see a slightly movement on
Editing                                                                           the middle of the image, next time I
Composition                                                                  need to shoot in a condition that is
not gonna be windy. So the
                                                                                      background will be more still.

PARALLAX IMAGE
FIRST IDEA
Growing flowers from the Coverse. Converse as a pot.
What worked:                                                            What didn't work:
Idea                                                                             Set-up, try to experiment with simplify
Movement                                                                   different backgrounds
                                                                                    Suitably irrelevant as a converse
                                                                                    campaign

SECOND IDEA
I am lucky to be back in my hometown because I know lot of good places for taking really good pictures so I've been in an abandoned stadium, perfect spot for a converse campaign in my opinion. I wanted my model Andrea to stay sit in the big stairs and shoot him from a low angle so we can have the contrast movements.
Here a pre-visualisation:
Best shoots of the day:
Equipment and prop:                                                Lighting:
