On the 21st of September 2013, gunmen sieged and opened fire on civilians at Nairobi's Westgate mall. As the siege continued, it brought together an entire nation - with every individual doing whatever they can to help and truly showcased the strength of solidarity.
Montrealers extended this show of solidarity by showing their support and confidence and mourning with both the diaspora as well as the entire nation - taking note of the issue, reminding themselves to love and spread love and kindness and wearing the Kenyan flag for a portrait.
Several people have written to us to say Thank You and it is one of the most meaningful projects we've ever done!
