Miasma Film Poster

The gas mask was cut out of this picture for use in the poster.
Yes, another gas mask picture.  However, a disembodied gas mask (the original) felt odd, so I decided to reshoot with fitting clothes.  However, the gas mask in this picture didn't turn out as well as the previous picture, so I used the mask from the last picture and the body from this one.
The fly used on the gas mask lense.  The fly is dead and the abdomen is half disintegrated, but you can't see it from this angle.
My special effect.  I made this smoke cloud myself by repeatedly distorting a thick black line using the liquify function in photoshop.
Final product.  The gas mask, body, and fly have had their exposure heavily modified.  I flipped the hue of the fly to an orange to fit in with the rest of the image.  Smoke layered behind the other elements and its exposure adjusted to make it a little bit darker.  Font for the title and tag line is "Capture It" found on fontsquirrel.com.
