MIROIRS TAFLA SIGNES ZIETA
Oskar Zieta, an architect and designer of Polish origin, founded with his sister the Zieta Prozessdesign agency, commonly known as Zieta. Halfway between design and engineering Zieta does not only wants to focus on the beauty of the shapes of objects and furniture they design, but also focuses on creating innovative solutions that can be applied to the production of their collections and leave them endless possibilities.
Zieta is best known for his collection of stools “Plopp” made through  the FIDU technology. These stools appear to be almost soft and seem to be made of foldable or even wrinkled material. In fact, these Plopp stools are metal. Two laser-cut metal sheets are first welded together before air is injected between them until they separate from each other forming a three-dimensional object. From the balloon-inflated maneere, the FIDU technology, developed by Zieta Prozessdesign, allows you to make durable items everyday using this inflation system. Zieta offers unique design furniture collections. After the series of Plopp stools, commonly known as  “Plopp Family”, Zieta Prozessdesign also made a chair from the same principle – Chippensteel 0.5 Chair. More recently, Zieta has developed a quite exceptional mirror collection. Like real helium balloons,  “Tafla”, “Rondo” and “Rondel” mirrors are available in a wide variety of formats. Finally, Zieta Prozessdesign also designs a range of tables and consoles, titled “G-tables”, which offers to combine a highly organic metal structure with a tray and to put the finishing touches (concrete, solid wood, etc.).
