The Black Kite: A bold and adaptable opportunistic predator and scavenger. Widespread over inland plains and watercourses, pastoral land and beaches, settlements and rubbish dumps. They sometimes can be seen gathering in loose flocks, sometimes totalling in the 100's.
This one is one of a pair that have found a tall Gumtree to nest in. Although not breeding yet, they still call it home and can be seen everyday hunting.
