Let There Be Art (Museum Project)

Let there be Art....A Modern Christian Art Museum. I wanted to create a space that allowed today's Christian Artists to show and experience each other's work without having to compromise any of their convictions in regard to entertainment. The blue speaks to hope and the tan is to bring in the color from the hardwood floors that would be present. the Hardwood is to make reference to Noah's ark, plus they are aesthetically pleasing.
In my head, I walked through what I believe the different areas of the space would look like and found the closest signs I could find for them. Let There Be Art is not only a space to see what has been created but also to create and even disciple those who want to be. It's also a space to grab a few loaves and fish if one desires. I wanted to play on different biblical references for as many of the signs as I could.
This logo design remained the favorite in the different breakout groups so I continued to play with it. Originally it wasn't my preference but I believe the blocky text works for the theme. The text reminds me of planks of wood coming together to create itself...like the building of the art. Though we may not look at it like this way, art saved Noah and his family from the great flood. Let there be Art!
