This is a range of rag dolls that I made by printing my illustrations onto fabric and sewing them up into soft dolls and soft cats for children. I designed the full range myself, including the sewing pattern for the dolls. I named the range ‘La Poupee’ and sold a limited amount of these hand made dolls at markets and in small boutique stores in South Africa.

Below is an article from the Ideas Magazine (in South Africa) where I made a rag doll for a competition they were running called ‘Celebrating Creativity’. I made the doll to look like a well known South African news anchor from the 1980s, Riaan Cruywagen, and was the overall winner.
