Kooky Cream Cafe - post pandemic 2020

Proposed Interior Design for Kooky Cream. Kooky Cream is a cafe plus a in house bakery by After Black Cafe. It was founded by a group of passionate food lovers. Therefore, their target audience are students, family, couple and office workers.
My site is located at SS15 near the LRT station and there is a wet market opposite of it. 300 meters away from the site is a 4-storey parking lot and there is also a college near this site, which is the INTI International College Subang.
My concept is to create a simple yet sweet and soft feel interior with social distancing, to let the diner feel more welcoming.
This is my mood board, all I want to express is the sweetness, happiness, welcoming, and soft atmosphere. I also used shapes with a lesser edge, such as the egg shape shown at the bottom right of the mood board.
This is my furniture layout plan. From the entrance of the cafe, u have to get your hand sanitized and scan your temperature. After that, you will then step into the dining area. The left side is four-seaters booth seating, while the right side is the two-seaters. Keep walking in, there is a more private two-seater that can't be seen from the entrance. However, next to the private two-seaters is a washroom. The display chiller and cashier counter are right in front of the washroom. Lastly, the kitchen is behind the cashier.
This is the facade view. The signage I choose to be in stainless steel with hidden striplight behind, so passerby could catch an eye by the reflection of the signage with the lights from far. The window at the middle of the facade is to easier attract passerby by the cakes in the display chiller at the meantime also giving privacy to the booth seating diners. There is two door, the left one is the entrance and the right one is for the exit. I make the entrance and exit separated because I don't want too many people in and out at the same time during the pandemic situation. The frame of the window and door are in selected wrought iron paint finish. The tagline was added on the empty wall at the exit. Diners could take a picture before they leave.
Dining area view. The left side is the booth seating for four-seaters. The material I used for the partition at the booth seating is linen because it gives a half transparency look, without covering the view behind. While the right side is the two-seaters with the glass partition. The gold stripe on the floor act as leading the customers from the entrance to the cashier and display chiller. A cozy interior with colorful terrazzo tile increases the atmosphere and makes the Kooky Cream Cafe more lively. With the partition between the seats, diners comply with the social distancing rules too.
The private two-seaters dining area view. Curve ceiling with glass ball pendant light reduces the hardness and bulkiness of the space, while the gold skirting makes space looks more prominent.
Washroom. The mixtures of materials assist in breaking the empty washroom into a bright and comfortable space, with the matching of egg shape mirror and basin.
Last but not least, the display chiller and cashier counter. The combination of pink paint, wood strips panel, and gold skirting is exquisite. A small corner with a minimalist white metal chair for diners to take an instagramable picture.
