David Brown: Life in Penang tells the untold stories of the man who cultivated cloves at his time, the price of gold, into something affordable during his venture in Penang, Malaysia.

Penang is rich in history and culture. It was a popular place especially as a port, for making trades and such as it was a free port.

It would be fascinating to see how Penang was back in the day, with many of the buildings holding rich stories. And thus, this project was born.

Through this project, people would get to see Penang from the eyes one of the largest landowners in Penang back in the 1800s.

There are three variations to the map. A portrait one, landscape and a foldable version.
