Vincent Dolman : Holding Hands
It’s tragic not to realize the beauty contained in the simplicity of what the human being is. The most beautiful things is often overshadowed by the sadness that surrounds them. There is something beautiful and pure in those men photographed by Ken Hermann ("Flower Man") and Vincent Dolman (Holding Hands). Maybe my eyes are too sensitive to be indifferent or maybe there is something unique about them.
The work of the sculptor Mrinalini Mukherje and Diana Scherer are also essential to this collection. The idea of contrast is translated through the combination of noble materials and simpler ones, such as the colors, which are warm but still fresh.
"Beautiful Guy" is about something pure and beautiful, about the contrast of qué we are and what surrounds us. In a way, it is also romantic and fanciful.
