Tribute to the brazilian flutist Altamiro Carrilho, one of the best flutist in the world. He died last year, but I was planning to do his caricature a long time ago. I love his music and I am sure that I don´t know all his hundreds compositions and albums. Anyway, when I was drawing this illustration I imagined his interpretation of "brasileirinho" original composition by Waldir Azevedo. 

 

The real movements of Carrilho during his performance wasn´t so exaggerated, but this visual result is what I imagine when hearing his beautiful and masterful executions.
I spent four or five days running into painting details. The flute was delicious to draw.
