Based on the articulated skeleton of marine creatures, the proposal for an aqua and health center located near the Sub-Arini Park in Sibiu is based on the intention to integrate within existing natural environment. Sloping ground was a challenge in terms of both volumetric design and landscape design. Water and natural light are the defining elements of the intervention, in this respect being provided ample glazing to allow passage of sunlight and break the barrier between inside and outside. Glass areas are modulated following mathematical principles of the Voronoi diagram. Landscape design of the land on which the proposal for the aqua and health center is located had as a starting point the existing level differences. They were benefited from by dividing the field into cells of different sizes at different height levels, connected by the paths crossing the site, and may be used for various functions: promenade, panoramic terraces, auditoriums, children's playgrounds.
