Artist Statement
The nature of this assignment(non-linear, etc) made me think of dreams. How most of the time, dreams are pretty non-sensical and random. How they can make total sense when you are asleep and going through them, but when you wake up, you realize just how strange they were. I also thought about how the dreams we have seem to flow into each other. How we sometimes have dreams that seem like one fluid story that just morphs into another.

The narrative is "your" dream. There are about 5 "stories" in each. Each story is linked on the "Star Farm". They aren't labeled and it is up to the viewer to explore and find them all.
Sara Thompson, "Light Painting: 4K," 2020. Photo book. 8.5 x 5.5 inches
