2017 i draw the Visual the first time. I started it in black and white. To concentrate on the "the Thing", the tentacles and the disgusting stuff. Some years later a friend ask me for movie poster adaption. It was for a small Cinema in Frankfurt/Main. They got a classical Horror-Movie Programm called (DIS) Harmonie ... 

It was important for me and the artwork that the typography is also in drawing style. 
For the Catchy line from the 80ies and the Titel itself.

The Husky is based on a screenshot from the Movie itself. The main idea was, to break the idea of the The Thing itself is coming from the Husky... it was the first one you see in the Movie. 

The Thing, you can see in the Titel, is the mutated Husky.
