Bearing witness to stories that are too often overlooked, it is a raw and intimate journey to crises in four corners of the world: war in Chechnya, ethnic cleansing in Burma, globalization in Mexico, and AIDS in Malawi. Written by Mia Kirschner and JB Mackinnon, from personal diaries and travelogues from their respective trips to the regions, the book is both incredibly difficult to read, and indeed, to process, but also brings light to people groups that may not have their own voice.
