A few months ago my friend asked me to develop a number of characters. It was planned an exhibition of his crazy puppets for the project "I Believe in Monsters". It was necessary to create the glowing sign - FREAK SHOW. The inscription must be legible and, in addition, with the constant width of elements, suitable for mounting light bulbs at equal distances from each other. We tried a couple of options, everything turned out fine, the exhibition was great.
I decided that it would be silly to leave everything so, plus I wanted to experiment because glyphs have two distinct characteristics: constant width and they were based on only one oval, supported by perpendiculars. Also I didn`t want lose such an interesting plot.
Thus was born FREAK SHOW - a font family for headers with surprises in the upper case.
