I have seen and forgotten these photos over and over again. During 2018 and 2019 I wanted to work on this concept of the underground in Berlin. I found the subway stations in this city fascinating because of their morphology, all their space taken, the light set, the colors. However, even with the time I spent portraying them, I never came up with the idea I was looking for.
I decided to share this anyway as a closing way. And because the stumbling blocks in the way of photography and being creative are also important. In these times in which social networks and the internet world is based on sharing only successes, and the stunning, I am more interested in witnessing the processes and failures, which are those that lead us to really form what we are.
After these photos, I learned to spend a lot of time framing, focusing, polishing the image in shot, improving it in editing, having a sketch with the planning of what I'm looking for, not forgetting what I wanted to tell, and letting myself surprise by new stories too.
