AMANI INSTITUTE - IDENTITY REDESIGN

Amani Institute è un’affermata ONG che si occupa di formazione professionale attraverso un innovativo approccio educativo. La loro proposta si rivolge sia a soggetti individuali che ad organizzazioni il cui obiettivo è quello di perseguire il cambiamento sociale.
Assieme allo studio torinese Tundra, ho riorganizzato la brand architecture di Amani, ridisegnato e normato il logo, stabilito un sistema cromatico e iconografico per i vari corsi e training previsti, e definito la tipografia per materiali digitali e cartacei. L’identità visiva si è sviluppata attraverso un visual che si ispira al concetto di network, una galassia fatta di connessioni fra persone, legami e cooperazione.
L’intera identità è stata progettata anche nell’ottica dell’usabilità da parte di un variegato e grande team dislocato nelle varie sedi di Amani presso San Paolo in Brasile, Nairobi in Kenya e Bengaluru in India: una serie di strumenti semplici, efficaci, versatili e allo stesso tempo riconoscibili e caratterizzanti.


Amani Institute is a well-known NGO that operates in the field of the social impact applying a new model of higher education. Their proposal is addressed to individuals as well as organizations whose aim is that of pursuing social change.
Together with the Turin-based studio Tundra, I redesigned the brand architecture of Amani, updating the logo, the typography and brand palette with a new iconographic system for the courses and trainings. The visual is inspired by the concept of the global network, a galaxy of links and people, ties and cooperation.
The whole identity is designed focusing on the principle of the usability for a big team located in different headquarters in Brazil, Kenya and India. A series of easy tools, flexible and at the same time recognizable and iconic.
