BELEZA GENTIL

Persona is a set of publications highlighting the modest and humble beauty of flowers. Editorial design, photography, and type design are used to create an understated yet strong aesthetic that emphasizes each graceful and delicate structure found in flowers. To further explore this concept, a custom typeface was created - this typeface captures the warmth and classic aspect of Old Style/ Garalde serif fonts with subtle design choices that resemble the Art Nouveau period, a design movement known for its organic and fluid shapes inspired by nature.

In this issue, Beleza Gentil (Kind Beauty), photography assumes both an objective standpoint - where a centered symmetrical framing shows flowers in a pedestal, comparing them to sculptures in a museum - and a subjective one, showing details up close, letting the viewer indulge in every detail.
