Web Content Through Comics: Part 2

I was asked to experiment with ways to make web content easier to consume. I wrote and sketched out a comic. This is one of two. A thoughtful combination of text and images can communicate information more efficiently than text alone. Here is a rough example of a quick comic that communicates the Genesys story simply.

For good measure I threw in a possible style for the comic...paper cut-outs! At the time Genesys steered away from illustration and preferred stock photography. I suggested that maybe we could photograph illustrations (also, I love paper cut-outs, and I'm going to keep proposing them until someone agrees to it). I did some quick sharpie drawings on the back of index cards, then cut them out, arranged them, and photographed the scene with my phone at the kitchen table. My wife deserves kudos for letting me take over the kitchen table and for holding a big white sheet of paper in the background.
