The task of this project was to make a photo collage based on a theme. I love sports and decided to do a collage based on one of my favorite teams (even though they love to disappoint me) the Dallas Cowboys.

I first started off by picking a picture of the Cowboys that I wanted to use. Dak and Zeke are my two favorite players so I decided to use this picture that I found off the web.

I then used a layer mask to edit out the entire background. 

To truly make this piece a collage, I wanted to add an old cowboys player along with the new ones. I found this picture of Troy Aikman off the web and I thought that it would go very well with my piece.

Like the other Cowboys picture I edited, I created a layer mask and edited out the background.

I then placed Troy Aikman behind Dak and Zeke. I turned the opacity down in the Troy Aikman picture to represent that he was a past Cowboy player.

To add on to the Dallas Cowboys sports theme I wanted to add in the Super Bowl banners that the Cowboys have won. I found this picture on the web and thought it would fit in beautifully.

Like the other pictures that I used, I edited out the background of the banner by using a layer mask.

I then placed the banners behind all of the players. I also turned down the opacity to make it look like it was truly in the background.

I wanted to put a background behind the players to avoid just having a white background. I found this picture of downtown Dallas off the web and thought it would go great with the Dallas football theme.

Finally, I placed the background of downtown Dallas in the background of my piece. I really like how this piece turned out and thought it executed the Dallas Cowboys football theme
