I took part in Penguin's Student Design award as part of Level 2 Graphic Design at the University of Lincoln, we were tasked to pick a book out of a selection of 3 then design 3 different covers (photographic, digital & crafted) after this we chose 1 of these to clean up/improve to enter the main competition. While I didn't get shortlisted I found that the cover was one of my favourite designs as I got to explore letterpress in its creation.
