The logo is born for representing in clear way and with communicative strength the area of the sicilian south east and its cultural district.
The image has been designed to communicate the geographical position and the uniqueness of the territory.
In the detail it identifies the outline of sicily and it underlines the area of the south east. This last is characterized by a color that it postpones to the tones of the Noto stone and two signs that recall decorative elements typical of the history of the territory (magna graecia, arabic and baroque decorations).
The colors green and cianos reassume the shades of the heraldic coats of the cities of the sicilian south east.
The font used is Arabic Typesetting, a sober typographic character that aims to mark the oriental character of the area.
