Brian's Juice Bar & Deli — A client that came from Turo Tech.
Brian's came to me initially wanting a mark that had a fruit being squeezed into a juicer. However, the mark was looking mechanical or childish. After multiple iterations I decided that this orange revealing its flesh best illustrated the ties to the juicing of fruit while also maintaining elegance and legibility.
Turo Tech — A software solution start up.
The client presented me with the desire to create a mark out of a word from the Aramaic language. Turo, means mountain and his initial idea was for me to use the characters for the word as the symbol. While it made for an interesting symbol, I sought to pull from the words meaning. A mountain is commonly represented as an obstacle and given that this is for a software solutions company, a mark that represented overcoming obstacles best represented the identity of the brand.
Ocean Crash — EDM musician.
A musician who's collective work is inspired by nature and the elements. He approached me wanting to somehow implement a circle in the mark to represent the circle of life. After a number of about ten different iterations we came up with a mark that used blue to represent both the ocean and life. The line that slashes through the mark visually embodies the sounds he creates in his tracks while still keeping the mark legible.
Sargon Saadi — Cinematography & photography.
Sargon wanted to me to implement his initial with an element of cinema. I presented him with a number of concepts with his initials inside various cameras and lenses such as the twin lens and telephoto lenses.
Angel's Express Couriers — An unused logo for a trucking delivery service.
The client initially approached me with the idea to design a mark that featured a truck with wings "something like the cars cartoons." I presented them with alternative options that would represent their company as more elegant than most family owned trucking companies and pulled from their name 'Angel' and the word 'couriers' which is more elegant than trucking or delivery service.
