While working at Sideshow, one of the many aspects of the job was creating imagery from provided photos of the products the company created and sold. Working with characters from well-known licenses like Marvel and DC, the designers would create scenes that corresponded with the characters depicted in the collectibles. From Batman in a moon-lit Gotham to Captain Marvel in battle in the middle of city–each preview was an exercise in photoshop and magic-realism. Featured below are examples of the before and after the photo manipulation work done to bring these characters to life.
