"Old Growth" Oil on Canvas, 48" x 48," 2020 

This painting was inspired by my visit to Muir Woods, outside of San Francisco, California. While walking in the forest, I was struck by the light coming through the tree canopy, and by the mystical feeling of the forest. I felt like I had stepped back in time, or through a portal and into a fairy tale.
