The Binghamton Water Resources Planning and Management

An accomplished academic, Laura Pangallozzi holds both a doctor of geography and a master of philosophy in urban planning from Rutgers University. She also holds a master of arts in US religious history from Harvard Divinity School. As a visiting assistant professor with Binghamton University, Laura Pangallozzi taught courses on several different subjects, including water resources planning.

Offered through the categorically diverse and professionally focused Binghamton University Department of Geography, the current “Water Resources Planning and Management” course undertakes a broad examination of the role that water plays in the field of environmental planning. Specific topics covered in the course include hydraulic engineering, runoff models, flood hazard analysis, and water quality management.
