Back in the days I was obsessed with graffiti and more specifically with 3d lettering, around 2000 I started exploring 3d software to find out how these shapes would translate in a physical accurate three dimensional space. 6 VHS tapes later I mastered the basics of Strata and never looked back. Digging into graffiti letter styles is something I will never stop doing and over the years I was actually more and more attracted to 2d styles and left the computer out of it. The “simplicity” and power of a BANDO piece is something that still amazes me, nothing beats that! Covid-19 unexpectedly put a hold on Us by Night and lead to the opportunity to dig into some personal work, reached out to my roots and made one more 3d Graffiti piece.
