Ingress to Elysium resulted from my need for exploration and freedom, the ability to explore something more fantastic and childlike than real life. Since childhood, I have been drawn by alternate portrayals of reality. I began to construct alternate realities of my own where no one could tell me what was right or wrong. That was my idea of perfection: an “Elysian field” where I did not have to worry about spelling errors, homework, or incorrectly drawn animals. This project allows viewers a glimpse into my reality, a “walk in my mind” so to speak.

In these posters, you will see animals. A lot of animals. They are not all shown the way you might see them in real life but are rather the way I imagine they might be.
