This research is to provide a way to increase public awareness through understanding historical buildings in George Town, Penang. Therefore, the outcome of this research runs through mobile application and goes hand-in-hand with educating the public about Penang heritage. This is to raise the public cultural awareness.
Problem Statement:
Young generation is less connected to historical knowledge compared to previous generations.
Objectives:
- To investigate the historical awareness in George Town, Penang.
- To analyze the levels of public understanding on UNESCO buildings in George Town, Penang.
- To evaluate the most effective medium to increase the public awareness on historical buildings in George Town, Penang.

Unique Selling Points:
QR Codes are used to able user to read the information, which visually displayed in the form of animated graphic to provide a better understanding about heritage buildings. Besides, this app allows user to perform update and favourite events as well as sharing their walking experience with their friends through social media.
Strategies:
Collaborate with Penang heritage NGO and create promotional video in social media.
