Portland Mercury Covers
I've been art directing weekly covers for the Portland Mercury since Winter 2009. For the most part, I run cover art that excites me and challenges expectations of what a weekly newspaper should look like, but every once in a while I get to design a cover that gives me the chills. The covers below are a couple dream covers that only got to happen because of the awesome people who worked on them with me. Obviously, I love special effects that are real.
