Clay Hammer
After a number of years of creating electronic and hip-hop music, I decided to make it publicly available and wanted to create a pen name that would be easy to remember and easy to spell, while maintaining some of my personal identity. The name I landed on was Clay Hammer. It maintains my initials, while being unique, memorable and easy for others to spell when searching on Google or in Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.
In creating my brand, I needed a brand mark that would be well suited to my name. It would need to be simple, clear and scalable, as it needed to work as an avatar across social media, but also as a mark on my artwork (where applicable).
Below, I have included numerous use cases of the emblem across social media, music streaming services and cover art. I have also included numerous design I created for music releases in 2020.
