The works are from a series titled 'Antimatter', which is about a solitary figure confronting a post-civilization world. Her body is contained within a protective suit, suggesting that the environment has become hostile to humans. She explores various locations of decayed civilisation as if on an alien planet. The human remnants are silent. She encounters life only amongst the trees in the forest.

The photographs were taken in an abandoned military barracks in Wünsdorf, Germany as well as in the woods surrounding Berlin. They were then printed as black and white photographs onto canvas and worked into with oil paint.
