The Eyelash Pit Viper
About : The Eyelash Pit Viper, also known as Bothriechis schlegelii, is famous for its key characteristic - eyelashes. The scales present above eyes help aid in camouflage, breaking up the snakes outline. The animal prefers lower altitude hence, lives on trees branches in areas with dense foliage.
