Even though logo itself is pretty illustrative I wanted the whole project to be simple and minimalist. I decided to use this shade of yellow because it's cosy, cheerful and full of energy. I found those qualities suitable for my client - dog behaviorist and psychologist.
Importance of details is something I like to remember about while designing. That's why dog is standing in particular pose - his head slightly tilted as if he's thinking about something or listening to his owner. That's leading recipients to conclusion that dogs are really intelligent creatures and deserve a lot of care and understanding.
