Started with simple box...

...then added a bit of twist...

...and displacement...

...and bended it a little...

...put some illuminated planes for lighting...
 
(Global Illumination, Ambient Occlusion and other stuff were NOT used for rendering!)

...and finally added a camera.

And after and hour or so, this appeared on my screen!
