The pandemic has caused us to stay indoors, stay locked. The usual community sights – kids playing, the after-dinner talks outside homes, the chit-chatter while buying groceries – which was a part of our everyday are now nowhere to be seen. While everything is on a standstill – one thing is not – kindness.
And in the fight of one contagious enemy, we need another contagious ally – kindness. As communication between a community has paused and people are connected to the internet of their homes, an initiative made people communicate, spread chuckles and positivity through the very thing their connected to – their WI-FI. Initiative called – #ConnectToKindness – where society members were asked to change their WI-FI names to something positive, which brings a smile on someone’s face or lifts someone’s spirits in these morbid times. The results are heart-warming. Done in one society, this has the power to spread positivity in any community, in any language. The Wi-Fi names keeps on changing and keeps on spreading the kindness this world needs right now.
