Spinster Sisters Brand Development
I had been using some soap handmade by a friend (Kelly) from High School for a year or so and thought it was amazing. She was calling her Company Spinster Sisters, and really didn’t have an identity. I decided to work one up for her and she fell in love with it. In 2011, she realized that Spinster Sisters was her passion and decided to get serious and take the leap to full time maker. That's where the Spinster Sisters story really starts.
Kelly started selling Spinster Sisters Co. products regularly at local markets on the Colorado Front Range in 2011. A year later, she quit her day job as a business analyst and devoted herself to Spinster Sisters full-time. By 2016, Spinster Sisters Co. had opened three retail stores in Colorado and retrofitted a warehouse in Golden to become the Spinster Sisters Co. Microsoapery headquarters and production facility.
I worked on much of the packaging as well, but using the original logo and design elements, her in-house team has continued to extend the brand look and feel across multiple products and retail stores.
