Twirl is a hand held mixer, designed as an extension of the human hand, to ease stress on the wrist (also achieved by changing its center of gravity). Turning on and off and choosing mixing speed, is made via an dial - ranging from 0 (off) to 8.
Each turn of the dial will change the speed to achieve the desired affect - folding, kneading, mixing, creaming, beating, whipping and aerating. The beater is inserted and dismantled by pulling the dial back.
At rest, the mixer has a flat head to be put upside down, so that the beater can suspend over the mixing bowl, and not drip on the work surface. The grip and operation areas has been colored differently, and also offer different tactile touch.
The dial itself was inspired by dark chocolate cubes.
