어려움을 이겨내고 성장할 수 있는 능력
결과로서의 승리가 아닌 과정으로서의 승리를 표현하며 자신의 노력과 성장을 강조한 오브제 디자인입니다. 우리는 각자의 목표를 위해 경쟁하며 결과에 대한 기대와 불안을 지닌채 하루를 보내고 있습니다. 하지만, 언젠가 이뤄낼 목표를 위해 지금도 배우고 성장하는 자신을 잘 돌이켜 보지 않는다고 생각했고, 이번 작품을 통해 잘 해나가고 있는 나를 트로피라는 매개체를 통해 직관적으로 메시지를 전달하고 싶었습니다.
I wanted to emphasize the effort and growth of individual by expressing victory as a process rather than the result. We spend each day competing for our individual goals, carrying expectations and anxieties about the outcomes. However, I realized that I don't look back on myself learning and growing for my goal to achieve someday, and I wanted to intuitively convey the message through the medium of a trophy that I'm doing well.

Coloso로고 중 'C'와 'O'를 모티브로 오브제에 적용했습니다.
로프의 매듭 형태는 콜로소를 통해 '배우고 성장하는 과정'을, 용수철은 힘든 상황을 돌파할 수 있는 '용기'를 상징합니다. 오브제 윗면엔 거울이 사용되어, 거울에 비친 나 자신을 바라보며 다짐하는 행위를 은유적으로 표현했습니다. 도자기는 흙이 뜨거운 열에 의해 단단해지는 과정을 통해 완성됩니다. 그래서 오브제의 주재료를 도자기로 하여 그 의미를 담았습니다.
The motifs of 'C' and 'O' from Coloso logo were applied to the object.
The knot symbolizes 'the process of learning and growing' through Coloso, and the spring symbolizes the 'courage' to overcome difficult situations. A mirror was used on the top of the object to metaphorically represent the act of looking at oneself in the mirror and making resolutions. Ceramics are made through a process of the clay being hardened by hot heat and having a subtle gloss, so I chose ceramics as the main material for the object to convey its meaning.

It's a small object that's placed on a desk or paper, but it will send us
a message of constant support and encouragement in our daily lives.
