T Lit for home environments is highlighted with its artisan wood finish, while managing to complement its minimalistic form following function. The lamp contains an adjustable stand allowing for its angle to be adjusted at will, adapting to each individual user’s needs as well as adding to its satisfaction upon use.

Freely adjusting angle coupled with a bright LED light and adjustable brightness allows the lamp to fill its multifunctional roles. At times being used in low light for tabletops, and at others being used in very high light to change ambiance and mood of the entire room.  This was inspired by the idea of a bascule bridge and thus they share the most charming points that they are both designed for multitude of applications from many different users.

Two adjustable stands can be assembled to prevent glare to eye or taken out completely to emphasise its brightness for ambiance of the room.

T Lit is handcrafted out of a Rimu floor timber which is a large evergreen coniferous tree endemic to forests of New Zealand. Rimu’s naturally austere pattern gives the lamp a delicate finish without any additional overlay and by using floor timber, groove section of their “tongue and groove” joints can be used to form the slots for an adjustable stand.

These two selected grooved ends of floor timber was cut as blocks to form a natural groove for the adjustable stand to slide in. The timber’s groove shape was left relatively untouched to emphasise the natural beauty of recycled wood, adding to the green nature of the wood itself, yet the wood overall was carefully constructed for an artisan finish.
