PFH (Protest from Home)

As a mixed race designer, the recent BLM protests lit a fire in me. I was well aware of inequities in the workplace-those experiences were nothing new. However, the racial violence across the US angered me beyond reason. I needed to do more than protest in the streets for change.
I created 4 original prints to raise money for nonprofits: the Skid Row Housing Trust (building quality affordable housing for LA's homeless population), Homeboy Industries (providing gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry services), and Where are the Black Designers (connecting BIPOC designers, educators, and creative leaders). The first two are integral to the wellbeing of my hometown, Los Angeles. The third will help young designers like me, struggling to have their voices heard in a white-dominated field.
